With our expertise grounded in industry-leading hardware and software solutions, we pride ourselves on delivering tomorrows technology, today.With our client-centric focus, we deliver video conferencing, unified communications solutions, boardrooms, meeting rooms, teaching and collaborative spaces, video walls, network based audio visual solutions and we guide and manage the process of converting isolated AV systems to full integration with clients IT networks.The RoleDue to the rapid growth of our company and one of our busiest periods, we are looking for motivated and experienced,full time, Audio Visual Installation Technicianthat will report to the NSW Delivery Manager.ResponsibilitiesInstall, move and modify audio visual equipment and other related equipment according to job specifications, standards and proceduresBasic understanding of IT networksConnecting systems, i.e., patching in equipment racksStrong understanding of cable infrastructure and terminationProperly mount (secure, level, centre) various equipment including LCD's, projectors,



speakers and other audio visual equipmentRead and interpret schematic diagrams and drawingsProvide feedback to project engineers when requiredDiagnose equipment malfunctionsFollowing standardised test proceduresSystems functionality testingMaintain and repair equipment according to manufacturer recommendations and specificationsMaintain and report accurate records of hours and materials usedTrain the customer on system use and how to obtain system maintenance if requiredUndertake service calls when requiredPerform additional functions incidental to installation activitiesThe ability to read and comprehend drawingsTroubleshooting abilityKnowledge of the AV Industry and working componentsKnowledge of AV Control Systems and programmingSkills and ExperienceExperience and training with Crestron, QSC, Extron is highly regardedMust have trade experience and be mechanically minded.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to coordinate with stakeholders at all levels.Highly organised, enthusiastic, and motivated.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office 365RequirementsMust possess a white card.Must be an Australian citizen.Hold a valid unrestricted NSW/ACT driver's license.A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and requirements.Be mature, well presented and hold themselves to the highest of standards.Why MNGD?
