You will take ownership of financial reporting, month-end processes and maintaining solid financial controls, while partnering closely with both finance and operational stakeholders to provide accurate insights that support strategic business decisions.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working in a dynamic,



fast-paced environment where they can make a genuine impact.Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:Own the end-to-end month-end and year-end financial close processPrepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and statutory financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting StandardsDeliver accurate financial reporting and commercial insights to the CFO and senior leadership teamMaintain balance sheet integrity through reconciliations, strong financial controls and financial data governanceManage fixed asset accounting, depreciation schedules, capital expenditure and inventory accountingCoordinate the annual external audit, acting as the key liaison with auditorsEnsure compliance with BAS, GST, FBT, income tax and all relevant statutory requirementsDrive continuous improvement across finance systems, reporting processes and ERP enhancementsPartner with stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting and business performanceMentor and provide technical guidance to the finance team while fostering a collaborative, high-performing cultureWhat do I need to be successful?
CA or CPA qualified, supported by a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related disciplineProven accounting experience within a Big 4, and/or large, complex commercial businessStrong technical accounting knowledge including financial statements, month-end and statutory reporting, tax compliance including BAS, GST and FBTExposure to ERP systems (Xero is desirable) with advanced Excel skillsExceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesA proactive, solutions-focused communicator who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships and contributing to a collaborative team culture
