St Francis Catholic College is a co-educational, multi-campus secondary school seeking a passionate and committed person to join its growing team.Known and respected for its learning and wellbeing programs, the College opened a new campus in Cobblebank in **** with an intake of 140 Year 7 students and will accommodate **** Year 7-12 students by ****.Our Year 7-12 Melton West campus, with its exceptional facilities and secondary pathways, is the foundation upon which our new campus will be modelled.St Francis Catholic College nurtures each student's spiritual and academic growth in a supportive, caring, encouraging, and faith-filled environment.VET Health Services Assistance Teacher **** – Cross-CampusCommencing January ****, this is a part-time 0.4 position.About the RoleWe are seeking forward-thinking educators who are passionate about inspiring young people and committed to excellence in teaching, learning, wellbeing, and Catholic education.The successful applicants will demonstrate:Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, families, and the wider communityHighly developed communication, planning, decision-making and negotiation skills.The ability to contribute positively to a team-oriented professional cultureAppropriate expertise and experience in the areas of Teaching & Learning.Demonstrated experience in leading best practice in the management of people and resources.Demonstrated ability to build capacity in others.Skills & Experience RequiredRelevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor of Education or equivalent)A strong commitment to Catholic education and the ethos of the CollegeAbility to implement differentiated learning and use contemporary technology to support student outcomesAn ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.An eagerness to learn.Special RequirementsSt Francis Catholic College promotes the safety, well-being, and inclusion of all children; therefore, the successful applicant must demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to providing a safe environment for children.Relevant Vocational Qualification.Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent.Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or Permission to Teach (PTT).
