Be the driving force at the center of our client's Australian Cybersecurity expansion.Gain global exposure and work closely with this leading U.S. company's cyber team.Grow your team as you embed into this long-term leadership position, shaping cyber security function and best practice in Australia.About you:6–8+ years of cybersecurity experience, preferably in defence, government or critical infrastructure sectorsRelevant tertiary qualification or equivalent knowledge gained through experienceCISSP certification (or equivalent), plus ASD recognized cybersecurity credentialsStrong expertise in Linux systems, networking security and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Hands-on experience with security automation and monitoring tools, including Ansible, SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, SO2), antivirus (AV) solutions, ACAS, Anchore, SonarQube, and related security technologiesDemonstrated ability to lead cybersecurity initiatives, influence architecture decisions and communicate effectively with stakeholdersWillingness to travel within Australia to customer and partner locations, including secure government or defence sites, and occasional travel to clients offices in the United States for collaboration or project work.You must also be an Australian citizen, currently holding and able to maintain Australian Government NV2 security clearance.Key Responsibilities:Define and enforce cybersecurity standards in alignment with NIST, ISO/IEC ***** and the ASD Essential EightSupport the preparation and submission of cybersecurity artifacts required for ATO processes,
