This diverse leadership role combines project delivery, asset management, aquatic facility oversight and stakeholder engagement.Reporting to the Manager Fleet and Facilities, you'll provide strategic and technical advice, drive continuous improvement, and ensure Council's community assets are protected, sustainable, and fit for purpose.Bring your engineering, project management and leadership expertise to a role where your work truly matters.This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking forBachelor of Engineering qualification with RPEQ registration (or the ability to obtain) and Pool Plant Operator certification (or willingness to obtain).
Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and delivering capital works, infrastructure, and operational projects.Strong knowledge of aquatic facility operations, contract management, and relevant legislative and WHS requirements.Proven financial management skills, including budgeting, expenditure monitoring, and asset lifecycle planning.Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, report writing, and relationship-building skills,
