diversity and inclusionAbout The RoleReporting to the Head of Communications and Marketing, you'll play a role in supporting the delivery of engaging internal and external communications and marketing initiatives.
Using a hands-on approach, you will coordinate marketing and project activities whilst collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
You will also contribute to the creation of content that informs, inspires and connects people across our organisation.Working closely with the Communications and Marketing team and other stakeholders across CHL, you'll help bring our strategic priorities to life through clear, human-centred and creative communication and marketing activity.What You'll DoContribute to the development and delivery of engaging communications and campaigns across internal and external channelsCreate content for CHL's intranet, website, newsletters, social media, publications and help manage digital platforms and channelsEngage with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers and coordinate communication and marketing activities, including for eventsMonitor CHL's digital presence and engagement metrics and contribute to reportingEnsure brand consistency and inclusive communicationsCollaborate across teams to support organisational projects and initiativesAbout YouYou're a confident communicator who enjoys working as part of a team, getting involved in projects,
building relationships and coordinating activities and events.
You enjoy storytelling, supporting the delivery of internal and external communications and marketing and have a genuine passion for wanting to support vulnerable people in our community.You'll BringTertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related discipline4+ years' experience in communications or a similar roleStrong writing and editing skills with a focus on inclusive communicationExperience with digital platforms, social media, and CMS toolsStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projectsA team-oriented approach and the confidence to work as part of a team and with stakeholders across all levels of the organisationA commitment to accessibility, inclusion and people-centred communicationIt Would Be Outstanding If You Also HaveExperience working in housing, homelessness, community services or the not-for-profit sectorExperience supporting change communications or organisational projectsBasic design or video content creation and editing skills using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative SuitePlease note: A satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a NDIS and Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to commencing employment.As an equal opportunity employer, CHL works closely with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
