Each year the team cares for over 28,000 women and babies, supported by the medical teams within the Royal Women's hospital and across the Parkville precinct.

Our nursing/midwifery staff are integral to the Women's Emergency Care centre and are supported by a dedicated team of educators.About The RoleAs an integral member of the Women's Emergency Care team, you will be responsible for triage, emergency assessment and the acute care of women and neonates.In a Regular Day You Will SeeA thriving tertiary emergency department focused on providing exceptional care.A collegiate and supportive medical workforce.An entire team committed to educating its junior workforce.About YouTo be successful in this role you'll be:An AHPRA registered Nurse AND Midwife with a minimum of three years post-registration experience in an acute healthcare setting.A clinician focused on excellent care and exceptional clinical experiences.An outstanding communicator who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team.Committed to maintaining knowledge of advanced antenatal and intrapartum assessment skills.Capable of working a rotating roster across all shifts including weekends and night duty.Our BenefitsAt the Women's you will enjoy a culture that is team-oriented, supportive and passionate about learning.
