Sharon AI is building the infrastructure powering the next generation of artificial intelligence.Operating across AI infrastructure, high-performance compute, cloud platforms and large-scale technology environments, Sharon AI delivers scalable, secure and reliable compute solutions for demanding AI, ML and HPC workloads.The RoleAs a System Administrator, you'll play a hands‐on role in supporting the performance, reliability and availability of Sharon AI's large‐scale CPU and GPU infrastructure across Australian data centres.Working across both physical and virtual environments, you'll be involved in everything from racking and maintaining hardware through to Linux administration, virtualisation, Kubernetes, networking, storage and system optimisation.
This is a broad technical role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex problems and working across the full infrastructure stack.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister, maintain and troubleshoot Linux-based production environmentsRack, stack and cable servers, networking and storage equipment within data centresManage KVM/libvirt virtualisation platforms and compute workloadsDeploy and support containerised applications and Kubernetes clustersConfigure and maintain networking infrastructure, including DNS, routing and firewallsManage high-speed and clustered storage environmentsDiagnose and resolve hardware issues across servers, GPUs, networking and storageApply security patches, system updates and configuration standardsMonitor infrastructure health,



troubleshoot performance issues and support site reliabilityMaintain secure environments, including PKI/TLS and encryption standardsContribute to continuous improvement and optimisation of compute environmentsSkills & Experience2+ years' experience in systems administration, cloud infrastructure or technical operationsStrong foundational knowledge across Linux, networking, virtualisation and hardwareExperience working with physical infrastructure and data centre environmentsExposure to Kubernetes, containers and virtualisation technologiesStrong troubleshooting and problem‐solving capabilitiesTertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline is preferredExperience within high‐performance computing, cloud or large‐scale infrastructure environments is advantageousRelevant certifications such as RHCSA, CKA, AWS or Azure are advantageousStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teamsA proactive, curious and adaptable approach to learning and solving problemsWhy Join Sharon AIWork directly with large‐scale CPU and GPU infrastructure powering AI workloadsGain exposure across the full infrastructure and technology stackJoin a fast‐growing AI infrastructure business at an exciting stage of its growthWork alongside a highly technical and collaborative teamHave the chance to contribute to new technologies, infrastructure and ways of workingOur ValuesIntegrity | Innovation | Collaboration | Wellbeing | Inclusion
