A outstanding opportunity for a Payroll / HR Remediation Specialist to join a growing organisation on an initial 3–4 month fixed-term contract, supporting a payroll compliance remediation project.
This role is suited to someone who can move beyond identifying payroll issues and lead the analysis, quantification and remediation through to a defensible outcome.About the role:Review and validate payroll compliance findings across multiple entitiesAnalyse up to six years of payroll data to identify and quantify potential underpaymentsCalculate underpayments, including superannuation and interest componentsInterpret Modern Awards,



Enterprise Agreements and employment contractsAssess obligations under the Fair Work Act and Superannuation Guarantee legislationDevelop remediation and back-payment calculation methodologiesIdentify payroll system configuration issues contributing to incorrect paymentsWork with payroll and systems teams to validate corrected configurationsMaintain detailed remediation registers, documentation and audit trailsPartner with HRBPs and senior leaders to ensure remediation is accurately implementedAbout you:Proven experience delivering payroll compliance remediation / underpayment projectsStrong knowledge of Modern Awards and Enterprise AgreementsStrong understanding of superannuation compliance and underpaymentsExperience designing and validating back-payment calculationsPractical understanding of payroll systems and configurationThe ability to analyse large, complex payroll datasetsStrong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to communicate complex issues to senior leadersHigh levels of discretion and attention to detail
