Talent Pool Creation – Senior Correctional Officer (Junee Correctional Centre)Employment type: Future ongoing and temporary opportunitiesSalary: $97,285 pa with allowance, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loadingLocation: Junee Correctional Centre (197 Park Lane, Junee, NSW ****)Your roleSenior Correctional Officers play an important role in maintaining the safety and wellbeing of staff and inmates.
You will oversee the daily activities of all Correctional Officers within a designated area and significantly contribute to the provision of energetic and static security in the containment and oversight of inmate / offender activities.What We're Looking ForAbility to always maintain confidentiality.Utilise your proven custodial experience and knowledge to meet the demands of this role efficiently and effectively.Always represent the Department in an honest, ethical, and professional way and lead by example.Resilient, motivated with a positive attitude and confidence will be a benefit to this role.Applicants who are not willing to work at Junee Correctional Centre, are encouraged to apply for a role in their preferred location once it is advertised.Essential RequirementsCurrent Certificate III in Correctional Practice or appropriate and relevant custodial experience.Be able to drive official vehicles and possess an appropriate level of Driver's License to meet all job requirements (if required).
