We are seeking a dedicated and professional Lodge Maintenance Officer who is committed to providing high-quality maintenance services and ensuring the facility is protected, functional, and well-maintained.The successful candidate will use effective communication skills to work collaboratively with staff, contractors, and management while delivering responsive and reliable facility maintenance services.Banksia is a highly respected, single-site not-for-profit and charitable organisation delivering quality aged care services in the beautiful seaside village of Broulee, located on the South Coast of NSW.
We provide care and support across three integrated services:121 independent living villas in our retirement villageAn 80-bed residential aged care facilityCommunity care servicesWhat you'll do:Respond to maintenance requests and undertake general repairs, handyman, trade and labouring dutiesComplete scheduled maintenance, cyclical inspections and routine tasks using appropriate tools and light equipmentSupport refurbishment and project work as directed, while promoting safe, high-quality outcomesWhat you'll need:Trade certificate or relevant maintenance experienceCurrent Chief Fire Warden qualificationAt least 1 years' experience in trade,



handyman or facilities maintenanceStrong WHS knowledge and commitment to safe work practicesAbility to safely use maintenance tools and equipmentStrong communication, organisation and time-management skillsFriendly, reliable and respectful when working with residents, staff and contractorsAbility to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and stay calm under pressureHealthcare, aged care, hospital or commercial experience highly desirableWhy Join Banksia?
