The Manager, Systems, Projects & Delivery is a key leadership role within the Talent Team, People & Culture, responsible for driving projects, system enhancements and service improvements that strengthen talent service delivery across the Department of Customer Service (DCS).
About the role
Reporting to the Talent Director, you will lead strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance talent service delivery across DCS.
Partnering with Talent leaders and stakeholders, you will drive process improvements, automation and leverage technology to enhance customer experiences.
Key responsibilities
Lead strategic projects, programs and continuous improvement initiatives across the Talent function.
Drive improvements to Talent systems, processes and service delivery models.
Identify opportunities for automation, process optimisation and enhanced user experience.
Develop business cases, project plans, governance frameworks and implementation strategies.
Manage project risks, dependencies and reporting.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Lead change management activities and support the adoption of new systems and ways of working.
Coach, support and develop team members while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
About you
You are a collaborative leader with strong project delivery and stakeholder management experience, ideally within talent acquisition or a related environment.
You will bring:
Demonstrated experience leading talent projects, programs and business improvement initiatives.
Experience improving operational service delivery, systems or customer experience functions.
Strong business process analysis, problem-solving and continuous improvement capability.
Experience leading technology, automation or transformation initiatives.
Ability to influence and negotiate with diverse stakeholder groups and leaders.
Strong communication, engagement and change management skills.
A customer and candidate-centric mindset with a passion for enhancing talent services.
An understanding of NSW Public Service recruitment practices and the Government Sector Employment (GSE) Act.
