We are seeking an experiencedStructural Engineerto join the team at Dinico Consulting Engineers.
This is a full-time position based in Pyrmont, NSW ****, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to significant structural engineering projects and play a key role in delivering innovative solutions for our clients.
You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to design, analyse, and oversee the construction of structural systems that meet the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and quality.What you'll be doingDesign and analyse structural systems for buildings and infrastructure projects using industry-standard software and methodologiesPrepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction phasesConduct feasibility studies and provide technical advice on structural solutions to meet project requirementsLiaise with architects, engineers, and clients to understand project objectives and deliver integrated design solutionsPerform structural calculations and modelling to ensure compliance with relevant building codes and Australian StandardsOversee construction activities and provide in office technical support to ensure structural integrity during implementationIdentify and mitigate structural risks and provide recommendations for improvementContribute to project planning, budgeting, and scheduling to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveryMentor and support junior engineering staff where applicableStay current with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in structural engineeringWhat we're looking forBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering,



or a related disciplineMust be Chartered and NSW Structural Design Practitioner accredited.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in structural design and analysisProficiency with structural analysis and design software such as SAP****, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, or similar toolsStrong knowledge of Australian Building Codes, AS **** (Concrete Structures), AS **** (Steel Structures), and relevant standardsExcellent understanding of materials including concrete, steel, timber, and masonryStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailExcellent communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders at all levelsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentAutoCAD proficiency for drawing preparation and modificationExperience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) is desirableKnowledge of sustainability principles and green building practices is advantageousWhat we offerAt Dinico, we are committed to fostering a supportive and dynamic workplace where your professional development is valued.
