Shalimar Mooloolaba, a renowned Indian restaurant in the heart of the Sunshine Coast, is seeking an experienced and passionateIndian Cuisine Chefto join our talented kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori, biryanis, and desserts.
Ensure consistency and quality in food preparation and presentation.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.
Manage kitchen inventory and assist with ordering ingredients.
Stay up-to-date with current trends in Indian cuisine and suggest innovative ideas to enhance the menu.
Oversee food safety and hygiene standards in line with Australian regulations.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a chef,
preferably with a focus on Indian cuisine.
Strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
High level of attention to detail, particularly in food presentation and cleanliness.
Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
Minimum of at least1 year of experience.
Relevant qualifications (minimum of Certificate IVin Cookery or equivalent.
Salary - $76,000 to $82,000 plus super.
