The Opportunity:Due to our continued success in the resource sector Inteforge seek expressions of interest from highly capable, confident QA QC Coordinator to be an integral part of the project team.As QA / QC Coordinator, you will actively provide guidance, and support to the overseas fabrication workshops (Tianjin, China) and drive deliverables through the fabrication process and project execution phase in compliance with quality management systems, customer specification, contract requirements.
The role is based in our Overseas workshops in China and locations in Asia (operating on a FIFO roster 26 / 9).
About the Role:You will be Workshop based in China overseeing fabrication and quality activities.
Our work includes fabrication for a range of resources projects at our workshops in China and Asia, this role will see you coordinating the Welding and QA activities as we deliver fabrication, welding, projects to a range of blue-chip resources clients (mining and energy clients).
We provide a fully furnished apartment and transport to and from our workshops along with flights to and from China.Duties for this role include.Ongoing surveillance and visual inspections of welding and steelwork (pressure vessels).
Development and ongoing implementation of quality deliverables such as Inspection and Test Plans,
Field Inspection Check sheets and welding related documentationCoordination and management of Non-destructive testing activitiesVerification of workshop construction activitiesPreparation and compilation of project quality verification documentation including the compilation of project MDRsOngoing maintenance of quality assurance and welding databases.Issuing and follow up of Non-Conformance Reports and Field Discrepancy ReportsEssential to this position you will have:Previous workshop experience in a similar QA /QC Inspector / Coordinator roleWelding Supervisors Certificate to AS**** Cert 10Working knowledge of the AS/NZS ISO **** quality systems and processesSound working knowledge of Australian and international standards and codesWell-developed written communication, able to prepare management reports and work instructions,Demonstrated ability in computer skills including MS Word and MS ExcelWelding / Fabrication Trade, NDT background or relevant industry experienceWelding supervisors or inspection qualification (WTIA or equivalent)Proven track record in building and maintaining effective relationships with clientsPrevious experience in overseas fabrication workshops will be highly regardedInteforge is a wholly owned subsidiary of Monadelphous group, a leading Australian (ASX listed) engineering group providing construction, maintenance and industrial services to the resources, energy and infrastructure sectors.
