This is a casual position providing essential support to our sales operations.
As a Sales Consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and contributing to sales performance.
You will work alongside our sales team to ensure customers receive outstanding service and assistance in selecting the perfect furniture solutions for their needs.What you'll be doingGreeting and welcoming customers to the showroom with a friendly and professional demeanourAssisting customers in browsing and selecting furniture products that meet their requirementsProviding product information, including features, specifications, pricing and delivery optionsProcessing customer enquiries and transactions accurately and efficientlySupporting the sales team in closing sales and achieving sales targetsMaintaining an organised and visually appealing showroom environmentHandling cash and card transactions with accuracy and attention to detailResponding to customer questions and resolving concerns promptly and professionallyAssisting with stock management and inventory tracking as requiredSupporting marketing and promotional activities within the showroomPreparing and providing accurate quotes in response to online customer enquiries, and following up enquiries to assist in converting them into salesUpdating and changing showroom tickets and pricing during promotional periods to ensure all product information is accurate and currentObtaining freight and delivery quotes and assisting customers with delivery options and related enquiriesWhat we're looking forExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customersEssential availability to work Thursday late-night trading and Sundays, with availability to work Saturdays as requiredStrong sales ability with a genuine desire to help customers find the right productsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamNumeracy skills and proficiency with cash handling and point-of-sale systemsAttention to detail and organisational skillsA positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and servicesPhysical capability to assist with moving and demonstrating furniture itemsWhat we offerWoodbury Furniture is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace.
