Public Sector People – North Melbourne VICA local council in the Northern suburbs is seeking an experienced Equity & Wellbeing Project Officer to join their team on a 3-month contract, supporting the delivery of key equity, inclusion and wellbeing initiatives.This is a great opportunity for someone with experience across social policy, gender equality, community development or family violence prevention, looking to make an immediate impact within a busy local government environment.The Role Working closely with the Senior Coordinator, you will provide project, operational and coordination support across the Equity, Inclusion and Wellbeing portfolio.Key responsibilitiesSupporting the planning, delivery and evaluation of community-based projects and action plansCoordinating initiatives relating to gender equality and prevention of gender-based violenceSupporting the delivery of 16 Days of Activism activitiesSupporting Gender/Equity Impact AssessmentsProviding project and administrative support to the Free From Violence programCoordinating events, including venues, catering, equipment and on-the-day logisticsSupporting community and stakeholder engagement activitiesFacilitating and participating in external network meetingsMaintaining accurate budgets, financial records and project documentationManaging competing priorities and ensuring projects are delivered within agreed timeframesA local council in the Northern suburbs is seeking an experienced Equity & Wellbeing Project Officer to join their team on a 3-month contract, supporting the delivery of key equity, inclusion and wellbeing initiatives.This is a great opportunity for someone with experience across social policy, gender equality, community development or family violence prevention, looking to make an immediate impact within a busy local government workplace.The Role Working closely with the Senior Coordinator,
