A highly successful civil contractor has just secured a record amount of new tenders, creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join their growing Brisbane team.With a significant pipeline of civil infrastructure and subdivision projects secured, this is an excellent chance for a Surveyor looking to take the next step with a contractor that has plenty of work ahead.The Role Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Supervisors, you will be responsible for delivering accurate surveying across a range of civil construction projects.Your responsibilities will include:Setting out civil construction works including roads, drainage, earthworks and subdivisionsProviding accurate levels, coordinates and construction set-outUndertaking bulk earthworks and detailed civil surveyingCompleting as-built surveys and maintaining accurate survey recordsWorking closely with site teams to identify and resolve construction issuesUsing modern surveying equipment and softwareSupporting Project Engineers and Site Supervisors throughout project deliveryEnsuring surveying activities are completed accurately and in line with project requirementsAbout YouWe are looking for an Engineering Surveyor with 3-6 years' experience,



ideally gained within a civil contracting environment.You will ideally have:3-6 years' experience as an Engineering/Civil SurveyorExperience across roads, earthworks, drainage, subdivisions or civil infrastructureStrong construction set-out experienceRelevant surveying qualificationsExperience using modern survey equipment and softwareStrong communication and problem-solving skillsThe ability to work autonomously and as part of a project teamA strong understanding of civil construction methodologiesInterstate & NZ Candidates WelcomeInterstate and New Zealand candidates will be considered for the position.For the right candidate, the contractor is open to supporting a move to Brisbane and helping make the transition as straightforward as possible.What's On Offer?
