This role is strategically key to the future growth of Helix Services.We are looking for someone who has a can-do attitude, able to prioritise their work and get things done.The successful candidate will be a team player, has an eye for detail and is dedicated to working safely and completing work on schedule.This role requires someone to start immediately and is for a project that is about to commence near Lakes Entrance and requires the person to take this project to completion.About the role:You will be responsible for assisting boilermakers with hydrotesting, pipe assembly, assembly of skid mounted packages, structural assembly and/or assisting electricians.About you,
as a minimum:Have broad general experience within the tradeand have mechanical aptitudeBe self-motivated and have proven problem solving skillsBe able to work as part of a team and follow instructionsExperience using hand and power tools (essential)Experience grouting under steel supports and structures (desirable)Hold a valid high risk work license (desirable)Working at heights (within 3 years)Relevant dogman and riggers ticket (RB minimum)Current ticket and experience in operating a telehandler (highly desirable)Proof of right to work in AustraliaCommitted to zero harmAdhere to the site's HSEC policies and proceduresStrong safety focus and a desire to enhance the site safety environment and cultureFluent in written and verbal EnglishPass a drug and alcohol testConstruction White CardWhat are we offering:Casual rates + penalties in accordance with the award
