Business Development Consultant – Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) - SydneyAfford's high-quality disability services are expanding under Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA), and we're looking for a Business Development Consultant to help grow meaningful employment opportunities for people with disability.

You'll be out in the market building employer partnerships, creating real job opportunities, and supporting sustainable outcomes that genuinely change lives.About the role:Work across Inner Sydney, Darlinghurst and Marrickville to identify, develop and convert opportunities with disability-friendly employersPartner with internal teams and external stakeholders to connect people to meaningful, sustainable employmentPlay a key role in driving employment outcomes under the IEA programWhat you will do:Develop and execute a targeted business development plan aligned to IEA outcomesIdentify and secure new employment opportunities for clients across your regionBuild and maintain solid relationships with employers, community organisations and key stakeholdersGrow a portfolio of disability-inclusive employersProvide post-placement support to employers to support sustainable outcomesWork closely with Employment Consultants and wider teams to support placements and retentionMonitor and report on performance, including placements, engagement and market growthPartner with Brand & Engagement to promote Afford's employment offeringContribute to continuous improvement, compliance and quality service deliveryWhat you will bring:Experience in business development, employer engagement or relationship management (ideally within disability,
employment or human services)Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skillsProven track record of generating and converting opportunities into outcomesUnderstanding of government-funded employment programs such as Inclusive Employment Australia or similarAbility to work autonomously while contributing to a team environmentStrong organisational skills and ability to manage competing prioritiesExcellent communication and influencing skillsCurrent Australian C class driver's licence and own vehicle to travel between sitesHold (or be willing to obtain) a current NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWSC) and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
