Reporting to the Financial Accountant Coordinator, this role manages the Accounts Receivable function and supports broader finance operations, offering genuine autonomy and the chance to contribute to continuous improvement across finance systems and processes.Key responsibilitiesManage the Accounts Receivable workflow, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and correct allocation of cash receivedAct as first point of contact for the Accounts Receivable mailbox, resolving debtor enquiries and adjustment entries in line with internal procedureImport daily banking transactions and support departments to progress the collection of aged debtorsPerform bond and retention reconciliations, refund processes,



and support general ledger and balance sheet reconciliationsCarry out end of month processes including revenue reconciliation, statement distribution, and non-Rates debtor reportingManage revenue recognition in line with accounting standards as part of monthly and annual processesPrepare end of year revenue, debtor, and debt provision reconciliations and financial notesContribute to the review and improvement of finance policies, procedures, and systemsAbout youDemonstrated experience in an Accounts Recievable role, preferably within Government, Education, Aged Care/HealthcareSolid understanding of accounting principles, practices, and taxation rules, with robust reconciliation skillsA post-secondary qualification in accounting, finance, or business management, with relevant experienceStudy towards or completion of CPA or CA ANZ is highly regarded but not essentialTechnologyOne CIA experience ideal
