Reporting to the Senior Exploration Geologist, this role is based at Sunrise Dam on an 8/6 FIFO roster.
We operate direct flights from Perth and Kalgoorlie to site.About the RoleMaintaining a high standard of safety by complying with all relevant safety instructions and proceduresBuilding and maintaining constructive relationships with AGAA staff and contractorsDaily management of underground drill rigs, including data validation and data entryMentoring of the Graduate and Exploration GeologistsHigh quality geological logging of diamond drill coreDesign,



coordination and management of drill programsManagement of short-term drill scheduleInterpretation and reporting of geological and geochemical resultsGeological and ore domain modellingMonitoring performance to plan of targetsWeekly and monthly reportingProcess and procedure improvements and updatesSupport the Exploration Team in the discovery of resources to meet annual depletion of resource/reservesAbout YouPeople are at the heart of everything we do.

You'll bring a solid mix of technical know-how and practical experience to the team.
To be considered, you should have:A relevant tertiary or postgraduate degree in GeologyPrior experience working in an exploration role or as a mine geologist favourableExperience using 3D software, with Vulcan, Leapfrog or similar software highly regardedExperience geological logging of diamond drill core or RC chipsExperience validating data and working with databases, such as DatashedKnowledge of QAQC practicesStrong written and verbal communication skillsLeadership and mentorship skillsPermanent work rights in AustraliaCurrent C class Manual Driver's LicenseThe ability to obtain a new National Police Clearance
