We know that working together is the only way we can achieve what is necessary for a healthier future.About the roleYou will play a key role in coordinating planned surgery bookings, managing waiting lists, and ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate care.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate elective surgery bookings and scheduling activities.Manage surgical waiting listsin accordance withpolicy and performance targets.Liaise with patients, clinicians, medical secretaries, and administrative teams.Monitor andmaintainaccuratepatient records and data systems.Support service improvement initiatives and reporting requirements.Provide exceptional customer service to patients and stakeholders.About youTo be successful in this role, you will have:Experience in healthcare administration or patient services.Strongorganisationaland time-management skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.High attention to detail and data accuracy.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Experience with hospital information systems is highly regardedHealthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice) .
Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year.
