Rural Merchandise Sales & Warehouse StorepersonFarmcraft, South East Queensland's largest independently owned group of rural merchandise stores, has been operating in SE Queensland since ****.Our store in Coopers Plains deals with a diverse customer base including horticultural producers, animal owners, fencing contractors, home gardeners and lifestyle block owners.
The warehouse services both the onsite store, as well as a being a stock receival, despatch and warehouse point for our other stores.We have an opportunity for a full time Rural Merchandise Sales & Warehouse Storeperson to join oursmall team.
The successful applicant will be expected to take a full and active part in the warehouse - managing stock, loading and unloading stock, order picking & packing - as well as assisting in the onsite store with sales and order processing as required.
A forklift licence is essential.Duties include but are not limited to:Receipt & dispatch of goodsPick & pack orders accurately & in a timely manner,
plus process corresponding paperworkBasic use of inventory management softwareEnsuring goods are loaded / unloaded / stored & receipted correctlyProvide outstanding customer service for in-store sales, and via phone & emailManual handling, including lifting of up to 25 kgsOperating a forkliftIdeally the successful applicant will possess:Experience in warehouse operations, including receipt & dispatch of goodsProduct knowledge of rural merchandise products - Stock Feeds, Agricultural Chemicals, Animal Health, Horticulture &FencingAttention; to detail with ability to prioritise and execute tasksThe ability to work both autonomously and as part of a small teamWell presented, punctual, reliable and have an excellent work ethicSelf-motivated with a can-do attitudeJob Type: Full-time
