Inter Industrial Services is seeking an experienced Extrusion Operator - Blown Film to join a leading packaging manufacturer.
This is a full-time position based in Dandenong South.
You will work a 4 x 12 hour shift pattern, rotating between day shift and night shift, every 4 weeks.Key responsibilitiesOperate blown film extrusion machinery, including setting up equipment, adjusting parameters, and monitoring production runsMonitor production equipment and process parameters to ensure products meet specifications and quality standardsPerform routine maintenance, cleaning and troubleshooting of extrusion equipment to minimise downtimeInspect finished products for defects and quality issues, documenting findings and reporting discrepanciesMaintain accurate production records, logs and documentation as requiredFollow all health and safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environmentWork collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily and weekly production targetsSupport the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce wastePerform changeovers between different product specifications and materials as directedWhat we're looking forProven experience as an Extrusion Operator or similar machine operator role within the manufacturing sectorStrong understanding of blown film extrusion processes,
