Working collaboratively with staff,students, and families, you will offer guidance, support, andevidence-based interventions to promote student wellbeing andfoster a safe, inclusive, and thriving learningenvironment.This is a fixed-term position for Term 4, ****,providing coverage for a period of long service leave.
The role ispart-time, working two days per week.
Thursdays are essential.You will haveCurrent registration as a Psychologist with the AustralianHealth Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Highly developed counselling and psychological assessmentskillsExperience working as a psychologist with children andadolescents and parents/caregivers,
ideally in a school settingfrom Kindergarten to Year 12Sound knowledge of child and adolescent development,learning and mental healthHighly developed interpersonal skills and the ability towork collaboratively with the School community and othersupport servicesExperience creating and presenting professional learning toa range of audiencesA current Anaphylaxis Certificate, National Police Check(obtained within the last six months), and a Working withChildren Check (Employee) or be willing to obtain prior tocommencementWhy Join St Michael's?
