Moreton Bay Boys College (MBBC) is seeking a dynamic Tuckshop Convenor to lead our busy and friendly tuckshop team.
This is your chance to bring fresh ideas, excellent service and delicious meals to life in a thriving school environment.THE ROLEAs Tuckshop Convenor you'll be the heart of our food service operations—planning menus, managing stock, leading a team, and ensuring top-notch food safety and customer service.
You'll work closely with the Hospitality Manager and be supported by Café Attendants to deliver high-quality meals and snacks to students and staff.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDesign and manage seasonal menusOversee food prep and service for online orders and internal cateringMaintain high standards of hygiene and food safetyManage inventory, ordering,



and daily reconciliationLead and roster staff and volunteersSupport College events with occasional evening/weekend cateringEnsure compliance with WHS regulations and College policiesWHAT YOU'LL BRINGProven experience in tuckshop or food service managementStrong leadership and team-building skillsExcellent time management and communicationA passion for customer service and quality foodFood Safety Supervisor certificate (essential)Current Positive Blue Card or eligible to obtain (essential)Experience in a school setting (a bonus!)WORK ENVIRONMENTThis is a hands-on role requiring physical activity, including standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
