The Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy department.
In addition, the Pharmacy Operations Manager provides pharmaceutical care to patients as a staff pharmacist as needed.
This position will assist the Director of Pharmacy to assure all legal, regulatory, and accrediting requirements are maintained at the best demonstrated practice.
Maintain a professional presence throughout the hospital.
Assure pharmacy services and activities are carried out to meet goals and standards of hospital.
In the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Operations Manager is required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the Director of Pharmacy.Minimum Experience:Previous Cardinal Health or Hospital pharmacist experienceTraining and proficiency in age specific therapies for hospital patients such as Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and/or Geriatric.Minimum Skills:Builds and maintains strong interpersonal relationshipsEffectively prioritizes tasks and responsibilitiesProvides transparent leadership and guidance to team membersDemonstrates in-depth pharmaceutical expertiseDelivers engaging and informative presentationsNegotiations with confidence and professionalismFinancial operations and budgetingTime managementRequired Certifications:Registered Pharmacist (CA DCA) Registration with California State Board of Pharmacy Board CertificationPay TransparencyThe annual salary range for this position is $ 158,****** - $260,****** .
