At AVC, no two shifts are the same.
You could be serving up a busy Friday night, working behind the bar, helping out across a bistro, supporting a function or making sure guests have a great experience from start to finish.What you'll be doingWelcoming guests and creating a friendly, fun atmosphereTaking orders and serving food and beveragesWorking across the bar, floor, bistro and functions depending on the venueProviding great customer service and making every guest feel welcomeKeeping your section clean, organised and ready for serviceWorking closely with the wider FOH and kitchen teams to keep service running smoothlyHelping with venue set-up, pack-down and events when requiredWhat we're looking forPrevious hospitality, bar, restaurant or customer service experience is outstanding — but we're also happy to train the right personA genuine passion for hospitality and creating great guest experiencesA positive, energetic attitude and a willingness to get stuck inGood communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a teamSomeone who enjoys a busy environment and doesn't mind being on their feetAvailability across weekends, evenings and public holidaysA current Victorian RSA is essential for front-of-house rolesValid Australian working rightsWhy join AVC?
