Cowboys Leagues Club Limited is seeking a Team Shop Assistant to join our retail team in Townsville, QLD.
This is a full-time position based at our premises, where you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional customer service and managing day-to-day shop operations.
As Team Shop Assistant, you will play a vital role in representing our brand, driving sales, and creating a welcoming environment for our customers.
This position is essential to maintaining the high standards of retail excellence that our club is known for.Key responsibilitiesProviding outstanding customer service to all visitors, assisting with product selection and answering inquiries about merchandiseProcessing sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems, handling cash, card payments and reconciling the till at the end of shiftsMaintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing shop environment, including arranging displays and ensuring stock is properly presentedReceiving, checking and stocking merchandise, managing inventory levels and assisting with stock takes as requiredIdentifying customer needs and making relevant product recommendations to maximise sales opportunitiesHandling customer enquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues in a courteous manner or escalating appropriatelyOperating within company policies and procedures, including health and safety requirements and security protocolsAssisting with promotional activities and marketing initiatives to drive customer engagement and salesWhat we're looking forPrevious experience in a retail setting,
