you will:Lead and oversee daily fleet allocation and transport operations to ensure service commitments are achievedCoordinate and optimise delivery schedules, routes, and fleet utilisationBuild robust working relationships with drivers, customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholdersMonitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and service deliveryEnsure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations, including Fatigue Management and Load Restraint requirementsYou have the following qualities & qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will have:Proven experience in fleet allocation, transport scheduling, or transport operationsPrevious leadership or supervisory experience within a transport or logistics environmentStrong knowledge of transport logistics, fleet management, and delivery operationsSound understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements and transport complianceExcellent knowledge of the Sydney metropolitan transport networkThe ability to prioritise competing demands and make decisions in a time-critical environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesAdvanced communication and stakeholder management skillsIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
