It's an opportunity to influence the delivery of public infrastructure that will benefit the community for years to come.As part of our specialist engineering team, you'll assess development applications, review civil and public domain designs, and help ensure new infrastructure meets Council standards and community expectations.Working closely with developers, consultants, stakeholders and Council teams, you'll play an important role in shaping developments across the City of Ryde.You'll also gain valuable exposure to a broad range of infrastructure projects and engineering disciplines, making this an excellent prospect for someone looking to further develop their local government or public infrastructure career.What You'll BringWe're looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with a collaborative and customer-focused approach.You'll have:A Civil Engineering degree recognised by Engineers AustraliaExperience assessing development applications and reviewing engineering designsSound knowledge of public domain, civil and infrastructure worksThe ability to interpret technical drawings, plans and specificationsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience preparing technical reports and recommendationsA current driver's licenceMost importantly, you'll enjoy working with people,
