Monadelphous is seeking a Project Engineer - Electrical to work within our Port and East Pilbara teams across upcoming and current projects.
The role is responsible for providing comprehensive engineering support to the projects, including tasks such as leading the team, building client relationships, preparing high quality reporting and defining scope of work.Working with Monadelphous offers many benefits, some of which include:On the job mentoring and coachingInternal transfer and secondment opportunities within the businessYearly salary reviewsFIFO from Perth, WA on a 5:2/4:3 Roster, allowing you to be home every weekendKey Responsibilities:Reviewing Scope of Works, drawings, specificationsReviewing budgets, completing cost comparisons and procuring materialsFormulating and reviewing methodologiesWork pack development and aiding with estimating, scoping, tendering, planning, scheduling and executing the scope of workOrganising project resources, equipment and materials/procurement as directed to meet project or contractual requirementsProvide advice, technical or functional information as required to Supervision and project staff involved in the execution of workQualitative documentation - ITRs' and ITPs'Supporting and coordinating the teamIdentify hazards and advise on safety procedures.
Actively monitor work practices to ensure adherence to correct procedures and standards for safety and environmental performanceWork in accordance with quality assurance procedures, client specifications and ISO requirementsWhat you'll bring:Previous experience working in an electrical engineering positionPrior experience with estimating within the electrical space is highly desirableProven experience developing project/construction schedules, work packs, and progress reportsPrior experience with projects, servicing maintenance, shutdowns and brownfields upgrades for the mining sector is advantageousStrong written and technical skills, with a demonstrated capability in commercials, budgets, construction metrics,
