contaminated waste and sharps containers safely and correctlyUse and maintain cleaning equipment and chemicals in accordance with WH&S; and infection control proceduresEngage warmly and respectfully with residents, families and staff during your daily roundsComplete required documentation including iCare forms for incidents or unexpected eventsSupport team members and step in to help across other tasks when neededParticipate in quality improvement activities and mandatory training programsSkills and experienceReliable, self-motivated and able to work independently to a high standardAbility to work in a culturally sensitive manner across a diverse communityFlexible and willing to work across different areas of the facility as neededDemonstrates initiative and genuinely enjoys being part of a teamClear and respectful communication with residents, families and colleaguesAttention to detail - you notice what others might missCommitment to infection control, hygiene standards and safe chemical handlingAged care, cleaning or hospitality experience highly regarded, not essentialNo formal qualifications required (essential)Certificate II or III in Cleaning Operations, Hospitality or Individual Support (desirable)Bilingual language skills (highly regarded)Ready to be the person who makes a difference every day?
