We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to support our manufacturing operations by maintaining and improving tooling, dies, and plant equipment used in layflat hose production.
This hands‐on role suits a proactive tradesperson who enjoys problem-solving, precision machining, and contributing to continuous improvement.Key responsibilitiesManufacture, modify, and repair dies, mandrels, and specialised toolingInterpret technical drawings and specificationsCollaborate with engineering and production teams to improve tooling performanceMaintain accurate tooling and modification recordsPerform routine and breakdown maintenance on production equipmentDiagnose mechanical faults and carry out timely repairsConduct preventative maintenance per schedulesAssist with equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioningOperate manual and/or CNC lathes, mills, grinders, and drillsFit, assemble, and align mechanical componentsAbout youStrong machining and mechanical fault-finding skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsSafety-focused, reliable, and team-oriented
