Our client is a privately owned land development business that has experienced significant growth over the past 10 years, with an established project pipeline and a lean, entrepreneurial team.The roleReporting to senior leadership, you'll take ownership across:Financial reporting and financial controls across development projectsCompliance obligations, including BAS preparation and annual financial statementsManagement of a junior bookkeeper, reviewing day-to-day transactional workProject feasibilities and commercial analysis for new opportunitiesBroader project work alongside the finance functionLiaison with external accountants on tax and reporting mattersGenuine autonomy and influence from day one, with real scope to shape how the finance function is built.What they're looking forCA/CPA qualified with at least 5 years' relevant experience.
Previous exposure to property development,
construction or land subdivision is preferred, but the background matters less than the person.
