Our family-owned civil construction company Civwil Pty Ltd is at an exciting stage of growth, and we're looking for a motivated, hands-on leading hand to play a key role in delivering projects in the Ipswich and Brisbane surrounding areas.We pride ourselves on safety and quality, solid teamwork, and long-term relationships with our clients and project partners.Working alongside Supervisors, Operators, Labourers, and Subcontractors, you'll help maintain productivity, quality, and safety while ensuring works remain on schedule.The roleWorking closely with the Site Supervisor, you'll be trusted to coordinate the crew and ensure daily works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.Coordinating daily labour, plant, materials and subcontractorsRunning pre-starts and allocating work across the crewReading plans, checking levels and setting up daily activitiesMonitoring safety,



quality and productivitySupporting the delivery of earthworks, drainage, pavements and general civil worksIdentifying site issues early and keeping the Supervisor informedOperating plant or assisting the crew when requiredMaintaining a productive and positive site environmentWhat We're Looking ForDemonstrated experience as a Civil Leading Hand within civil constructionGood knowledge of civil project delivery, including bulk earthworks, general services, and general civil worksConfidence coordinating small crew and organizing day-to-day site activitiesCurrent White Card (relevant RII tickets highly regarded)Practical, safety-focused approach when working across busy construction sitesEffective communication skills with the ability to work alongside multiple site teams
