The Sanitation supervisor is responsible for leading, developing, and continuously improving the site's sanitation and hygiene programs to ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, customer, regulatory, and company requirements.
This role provides strong frontline leadership while taking ownership of sanitation process mapping, standardisation, labour optimisation, equipment cleaning effectiveness, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.Key responsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop the site sanitation teamPromote a culture of food safety, accountability, and continuous improvementConduct regular sanitation team meetings, toolbox talks, and daily reviewsEnsure sanitation staff are trained, competent, and compliant with site proceduresDevelop comprehensive sanitation process maps for all production areasIdentify opportunities to simplify, standardise, and optimise sanitation activitiesManage and continuously improve the site's master sanitation program in conjunction with Quality Assurance team.Ensure sanitation programs meet GMP, SQF, HACCP, customer,



and regulatory requirementsAbout youMinimum 3-5 years' experience in food manufacturing sanitation, hygiene, quality, or production leadershipDemonstrated experience leading teams in a GMP-regulated environmentProven ability to lead continuous improvement projectsExposure to allergen management and environmental monitoring programsCertificate IV, Diploma, or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Engineering, or related discipline preferredHACCP CertificationStrong people leadership and coaching capabilityExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbout usGood Food Partners, part of The Arnott's Group is Australia's largest maker of branded and private label muesli and snack bars in Australia.
