This position will be responsible for maintaining the efficient operations of the Brisbane warehouse, assisting in the receiving and dispatching of freight into and out of the warehouse and yard, whilst ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained.The fundamental responsibilities of this role include:Assisting with receiving and checking all freight into the warehouse in accordance with our Warehouse Receiving SOPEnsuring all incoming freight is accurately and timely weighed, measured and receiptedEnsuring all incoming freight is accurately and timely line item checked against vendor paperworkEnsuring that all freight is received in good condition,
reporting any issues and damages to the Warehouse Team LeaderConducting forklift operationsPreparing, picking, packing and labelling goods for dispatchLoading and unloading couriers, trucks and containersMonitoring stock and preparing data reports for client reviewCompleting SAP based functions as requiredEnsuring warehouse and yard are clean, tidy and safeAdhering to QHSE regulations and protected operating proceduresThe successful candidate will have:Aviation security awarenessExperience working in a similar rolePositive and professional attitudeHigh attention to detail and strong planning and organising skillsExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to work autonomously and within a team environmentForklift high risk licenceShortlisted candidates will be required to undergo a Pre Employment Medical and Criminal History check.To find out more about Pentagon Freight Services please visit our website at
