We're representing a well-established Brisbane electrical company looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join the business during a strong period of growth.
This is a key leadership role for someone who still enjoys being involved technically but is ready to take greater ownership over projects, people, quality, and client relationships.
The company operates across medical, industrial, commercial fit-out, data, and security projects throughout Brisbane and surrounding regions.
With a strong pipeline of work already secured, they're looking for someone who can step in, lead crews confidently, and help support the next stage of the business.
The Role
You'll be responsible for supervising electrical installation and fit-out projects, coordinating trades and apprentices, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring work is delivered safely and efficiently.
The role will include:
Supervising electricians and apprentices across multiple projectsCoordinating daily site activities, labour, materials, and project requirementsManaging electrical installations in line with AS/NZS ****Managing medical electrical installations in line with AS/NZS ****Overseeing data, communications, and security installation workLiaising professionally with clients, builders, subcontractors, and site teamsEnsuring testing, documentation, paperwork, and handovers are completed properlyMaintaining high safety, workmanship, and presentation standardsIdentifying issues early and taking ownership of resolving themSupporting the business owner with project delivery and team developmentRemaining hands-on when required
This isn't a role for someone who needs to be constantly directed.
The business is looking for a capable supervisor who can take responsibility, make decisions, and lead from the front without bringing ego or arrogance into the team.

About You
You'll ideally be an experienced electrical supervisor or leading hand who is ready to take the next step into a broader leadership position.
You may also suit this role if you've previously considered running your own business but would prefer the responsibility and influence without having to take on the financial risk, administration, and pressure of business ownership.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
A Queensland electrical licencePrevious supervisory or leading-hand experienceExperience working on medical electrical installationsStrong knowledge of AS/NZS ****Experience with data, communications, and security systemsStrong installation and fault-finding capabilityThe ability to manage electricians and apprentices effectivelyExcellent client communication and personal presentationStrong attention to paperwork, compliance, and project documentationA practical, calm, and solutions-focused leadership style
