We're looking for someone with strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.About GAP IndustriesGAP Industries delivers Electrical, Communications and Mechanical HVAC services across Southeast and Northern Queensland.We support clients across the Defence, healthcare, government and construction sectors, including factories, commercial warehouses and other specialised facilities.We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, reliable service, solid client relationships and a supportive team culture.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, service, maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration systemsDiagnose faults and resolve HVAC performance issuesComplete routine inspections and preventative maintenanceWork across commercial and industrial environmentsEnsure all work complies with relevant safety requirements and industry standardsProvide professional service and communicate clearly with clientsComplete accurate service reports and record parts and materials usedMaintain GAP's safety, quality and presentation standardsWhat We're Looking ForCertificate III in Air-Conditioning and RefrigerationCurrent Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCtick)Current Queensland trade licenceRestricted Electrical LicenceConstruction White CardCurrent Australian driver's licenceProven experience as a Service HVAC Technician or in a similar roleStrong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration and electrical componentsStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent attention to detail and commitment to qualityProfessional communication and customer-service skillsFlexibility to work additional hours when requiredCurrent CPR, Low Voltage Rescue, Working at Heights and EWP qualifications will be highly regarded.Why Join GAP Industries?
