Located on the shores of the World Heritage-listed Shark Bay, RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort offers a truly unique work environment, famous for its beachfront location and the incredible daily dolphin interactions.We are seeking an experienced full-time Restaurant Manager to join us on a 6-month fixed-term contract to lead our Food & Beverage operations, overseeing daily service and driving a high-performing team across our outlets.
Set against a stunning coastal backdrop, this role works closely with the Resort Manager and Head Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences and ensure smooth, efficient operations across the resort's food and beverage offerings.
Included accommodation on-site is available, making this an ideal prospect for local candidates or those looking to relocate and live on-site.What will you be doing?
As Restaurant Manager, you will lead the Food & Beverage team, ensuring service standards, financial performance and team engagement are consistently achieved.In this role, you will:Lead and manage day‐to‐day Food & Beverage operations across outletsBuild a strong partnership with the Head Chef to deliver high‐quality food and service experiencesRecruit, train, coach and performance manage Food & Beverage team membersDevelop rosters aligned to operational needs while managing labour costsMonitor revenue, cost of sales and wages to meet budget targetsAssist in menu development, promotions and outlet improvementsMaintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage stock controlEnsure compliance with Liquor Licensing, OH&S; and food safety standardsManage guest feedback, resolve complaints and drive continuous improvementPrepare reports on outlet performance and contribute to strategic planningWhat are we looking for in you?
Previous experience in a Restaurant Manager or senior hospitality leadership roleStrong knowledge of food and beverage operations, service standards and cost controlProven ability to lead, develop and motivate a teamExperience managing budgets,
rosters and operational performanceExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsA strong guest‐first mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional serviceRelevant qualifications in Hospitality or Management (desirable)Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificateApproved Manager's Licence (or willingness to obtain)Willingness to obtain a National Police CheckAvailability to work a 7‐day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidaysWhat are we offering you?
