We are working with a US-headquartered design, engineering and construction management firm that is building its presence within the Australian data centre and mission-critical construction market.We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial and cost management support across technically complex construction projects.This role will suit a quantity surveying qualified with strong contractor or consultancy experience who is comfortable working across procurement, cost reporting, variations and contract administration.Key responsibilities:Prepare cost plans, budgets, estimates and commercial reportsSupport procurement activities, tender analysis and subcontractor appointmentsReview contractor quotations, payment claims and variationsAssist with contract administration and commercial risk managementPrepare cash-flow forecasts and cost-to-complete reportsWork closely with project managers, construction teams,
consultants and clientsIdentify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunitiesSupport final account negotiations and project close-outWhat we are looking for:Quantity surveying or commercial management experience within constructionExposure to data centres, mission-critical facilities or complex MEP-led projectsExperience with cost planning, procurement, variations and progress claimsStrong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processesAbility to analyse technical and commercial documentationStrong numerical, reporting and stakeholder-management skillsA relevant qualification in quantity surveying, construction management or a related disciplineThis is an opportunity to join a growing international organisation and work on complex projects within one of Australia's fastest-developing construction sectors.
