We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Learn to Swim Teacher to join our team at the Ararat Fitness Centre.In this role, you will deliver high-quality swimming lessons in line with AustSwim programs, creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for participants of all ages and abilities.
You will play a key role in developing water confidence, teaching essential swimming skills, and promoting lifelong water safety.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver structured swimming lessons tailored to participant needsEnsure the safety, wellbeing, and active engagement of all participantsMonitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedbackMaintain a clean, safe, and organised teaching environmentAssist with lesson administration, including attendance and schedulingUphold all facility policies, procedures, and legislative requirementsSupport and mentor trainee instructors where requiredAccurately report incidents,
