The Position
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to play a critical role in assessing property damage and delivering accurate, timely scopes of work.
End-to-end estimating across insurance repair projectsFocus on accuracy, compliance, and turnaround timesHigh level of stakeholder interaction (customers, insurers, trades)Opportunity to work on both minor and major loss claimsFlexibility required during surge events and major incidents
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the estimating process from initial assessment through to final report submission, ensuring all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
Conduct onsite and remote damage assessmentsPrepare detailed Scope of Works and causation reportsCoordinate trades for make-safe works and specialist inputEnsure compliance with building codes, legislation,
and HSEQ standardsDeliver accurate, competitive cost estimates aligned with insurer requirementsMaintain clear and professional communication with all stakeholders

The Ideal Candidate
3 to 5+ years' experience in estimating, insurance assessments, or constructionTrade or tertiary qualification in building/construction (preferred)Major Loss experience is highly beneficial but not essentialExperience with insurance claims and reporting (highly regarded)Sound understanding of HSEQ requirements and legislationFull Australian working rightsCurrent driver's licence, White Card, and relevant licences
