Given the opportunity of the size of that audience, the FS vision is to integrate a consumer's property search with finance though a world class digital seamless process.This will be achieved by building innovative consumer search and property finance application experiences that integrate the mortgage distribution channels of digital, phone and face to face.
The financial services team is accountable for strategy development and execution, working with our banking and mortgage broker partners to build our capability and product offerings,
leading sales management and engaging across the other lines of business in REA.What the role is all aboutThe Commercial Analyst will be a finance business partner supporting the Product & Technology portfolio across Financial Services.Drive and deliver accurate budgets, forecasts and long-range plans aligned to REA strategyOwn month-end close and results across opex and capex, including accruals, with accurate reporting against budget and forecast and transparent variance commentaryOwn the capitalisation of software development costs, including the capex/opex split and project level trackingDetailed analysis of cost drivers, including headcount, vendor spend and software licences to identify insights and trendsProactively partner with and influence key stakeholders / business unit ownersProactively identify and manage financial risks and opportunities with the businessRespond to and actively seek out opportunities to improve current processes, systems and toolsDrive improvements in reporting/analysis for management team, executive leadership and Board level reportingStrong financial control discipline, ensuring relevant SOX compliance requirements are metProvide ad hoc support and analysis, ranging from cost modelling for business initiatives,
cost deep dives and payment transaction supportWho we're looking forOur ideal candidate would have skills in the following areas:CPA or CA qualified and relevant tertiary qualifications4+ years experience working in a commercially focused/business partnering capacity with prior Big 4 experience or technology sector finance partnering desirable.Advanced Excel skills, financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting experienceExperience working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentStrong initiative, willingness to take ownership and a team playerHigh attention to detail with tenacity to problem solveStrong written and oral communicationDemonstrated commercial acumen and ability to manage a diverse stakeholder groupThe REA experienceThe physical, mental, emotional and financial health of our people is something we'll never stop caring about.
