This is an opportunity to do meaningful work every day—supporting people to overcome barriers, build confidence and take positive steps towards sustainable employment.As a Mentor, you'll work alongside participants to understand their individual goals, strengths and aspirations and provide practical, personalised support throughout their employment journey.Desire Skills and ExperienceParticipate in connection with community, respect relationships and apply this respect to each participant across all diverse cultural backgroundsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening and advocacyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamKnowledge of local community services, employers, and support networksHigh level of organisational and time management skillsUnderstanding of typical barriers faced by unemployed participants returning to the workforceStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to meet and exceed outcome-focused KPIsMust pass and have a current Police CheckMust pass and have a current Working with Children Check and/or Vulnerable Persons Check
