Programmed Maintenance Services – Revesby NSWWe are currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to join a large-scale manufacturing operation based in Revesby.This is a key site leadership position responsible for leading production across a 24/5, three-shift operation, driving improvements across safety, quality, productivity, cost and employee engagement.Reporting to the Site Manager, you will lead a sizeable production team and play a key role in ensuring manufacturing targets are achieved while continuing to develop a solid, accountable and safety-focused workplace culture.The RoleAs Production Manager, your key responsibilities will include:Lead and oversee production across three shifts, ensuring consistent performance across all teamsManage production plans, labour utilisation and equipment to maximise throughput and operational efficiencyLead daily production meetings and ensure agreed actions are completedDrive continuous improvement initiatives across waste, quality, productivity and machine performanceImplement Lean Manufacturing methodologies including 5S, TPM, Kaizen, Centre-lining and visual managementMonitor production KPIs including OEE, downtime, waste, quality and labour performanceEnsure production consistently meets customer quality and delivery requirementsMaintain strong compliance with workplace health, safety and environmental requirementsManage corrective actions relating to safety, quality and operational non-conformanceCoach, mentor and develop supervisors and production leadersDrive employee engagement, accountability, cross-training and succession planningManage performance and employee relations issues when requiredWork closely with maintenance, engineering, planning, technical,
sales and other internal stakeholdersSupport site maintenance and reliability strategiesAssume responsibility for site operations in the absence of the Site ManagerAbout YouTo be successful in this position, you will ideally have:5-7 years' experience in a senior manufacturing leadership role, ideally within production managementStrong experience managing large production teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environmentDemonstrated experience leading continuous improvement initiativesStrong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S and related improvement methodologiesStrong understanding of workplace health, safety and environmental requirementsProven ability to manage production KPIs, labour utilisation, waste, quality and equipment performanceStrong leadership, coaching and people-management capabilityExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication, influencing, negotiation and conflict-resolution skillsExperience managing change within a manufacturing environmentStrong planning, project-management and time-management skillsA Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement or Engineering would be highly regarded.What's On OfferThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader looking to take ownership of a significant production operation and play a key role in the ongoing development of the site.The position offers considerable exposure across production, safety, quality, maintenance, people leadership and continuous improvement, with the opportunity to operate as the 2IC to the Site Manager.If you are an experienced Production Manager who enjoys building high-performing teams and driving manufacturing excellence, we would like to hear from you.
