Limited – Canberra ACTVillage is seeking a energetic and self-motivated Site Manager to join our friendly housing team.
This full-time role reports directly to the Construction Manager.
You will lead and supervise all on-site construction activities, trades and subcontractors for multi-million-dollar townhouse and civil projects.Key responsibilitiesLead and supervise all on-site construction activities, trades and subcontractors for multi-million-dollar townhouse and civil projectsEnsure daily operations align with project plans, program, and Construction Manager directionProvide practical construction input throughout the design and pre-construction phases of townhouse developments including buildability, staging, methodology and value engineering reviewsProvide leadership, mentoring and direction to Foremen and site teamsDevelop and manage the construction program, ensuring progress aligns with time, cost and quality benchmarksDrive sequencing, scheduling, site set‐out and defect‐free delivery across projectsCoordinate procurement and timely delivery of labour, materials and plantEnsure works comply with drawings, specifications,



NCC requirements and company standardsCoordinate civil contractors, authorities and infrastructure worksPromote and maintain a superior safety cultureAbout youMinimum 5 years' experience in a Site Manager, Senior Foreman or similar supervisory roleDemonstrated experience managing townhouse developments and associated civil worksExperience coordinating multiple work fronts, subcontractors and project stakeholdersExperience supervising and mentoring site teamsBuilding Licence preferredTrade Qualification preferredBuilding/Construction Degree, Diploma or Certificate preferredStrong understanding of residential construction methodologies, NCC requirements and quality standardsStrong leadership, communication and trade coordination skillsSound understanding of WHS legislation and site safety requirementsAbout usVillage Building Co. has been creating communities where people live, work, laugh, play and spend time together since **** — and we're excited for the next 30 years of connecting people.Supportive, close-knit teamRelaxed work environmentStable, long-term position with genuine variety
