An established and highly respected travel business on the Gold Coast is looking for an experienced Groups Advisor to join its specialist team.This is an opportunity to work within a professional, experienced travel workplace supporting a diverse range of group travel requirements, with the backing of a well-established business and a strong network of travel partners.About the RoleAs a Groups Advisor, you'll be responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of group travel, with a particular focus on domestic airfares, bookings, administration and accurate group documentation.You'll work closely with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure group travel arrangements are managed efficiently from enquiry through to completion.The role will include:Managing group travel enquiries and bookingsWorking with domestic airfares and group air requirementsPreparing quotes, itineraries and supporting documentationManaging group bookings and changes through to ticketingMaintaining accurate group information and manifestsUsing Excel to manage and track group travel requirementsWorking with suppliers and travel partners to secure appropriate arrangementsEnsuring bookings and documentation are accurate and completed within required deadlinesProviding support to the wider travel team when requiredAssisting the Corporate Travel team during busy periodsAbout YouWe're looking for someone who is organised,
commercially aware and genuinely enjoys the detail involved in getting group travel right.You'll ideally have:Previous experience in group travel, leisure travel or travel operationsStrong knowledge of domestic airfaresGDS proficiency - Amadeus highly regardedStrong Excel and Microsoft Office skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyThe ability to manage multiple bookings and competing deadlinesStrong communication and customer service skillsA flexible, team-oriented approachA positive attitude and willingness to learnGroups experience is preferred, but we're also open to someone with the right travel background, strong systems skills and attitude who can be trained into the role.This is a confidential recruitment process.
